Honesty is the best policy. I have nothing against a woman being pretenious. But I let them know that it is OK to tell a guy that you are not going to give up the goods until you are married. Its not like hes going to scream and run away. The most he'll do is try to argue his point into your pants. If he really wants it, he'll hang around until it falls off. Nowadays women go the opposite route and PRETEND to be adventurous wild cats when in reality they are not. The problem is that once the dude finds out THEN he runs for the hills, ending the relationship and stops talking to the girl again. She won't let him know what she feels strongly about because she doesn't want him to run away. This is where the power is lost.

haha I don't go for men that are out of my league. I'm generally not a fan of setting myself up for failure. And once I get power I usually don't abuse it, at least not beyond the packets of ketchup. maybe that's the problem.

There is always a power struggle though I'll grant you that. I think that I'm just not good with power. I tend give it away as soon as I get it. I can never be a Delilah.

I've always loved the Idea of the femme fatale, but I have yet to see one in reality. I feel like the myth sets women up for failure and disappointment. maybe a particular woman can achieve femme fataledom in particular moments with particular men, but the whole myth of women owning complete control over men when they want it is just a myth.

Usually when a woman actually decides with intent that she wants something from a man, she generally overcomplicates things to the point that she doesn't know which way is north. Then by the time she's wiser and actually knows what to do she's fifty and no longer attractive or in the position to do so. That's the sad flaw in the system. (However, if a woman only kindof wants something from a man the process is a little easier.)

Though being a woman does have its advantages, the Delilah theory is generally not one that we can bank on without taking huge risks.

There is a chance that you are trying to manipulate men that are out of your league. This true for both the sexes. There is always a power struggle, people abusing their power and little packets of ketchup.

According to this theory, all women are not con artists but they can override men's strength by conning them if they so choose. Men are only doomed if people want to take them down and they (men) put themselves in a position to be.

Though I wish it were true and I would like to approve, men, no matter how disappointing you're love life may be, this theory is grossly over simplified. As a beautiful woman myself, i find it hopelessly difficult to manipulate men. It never works. Most of them do what they want regardless of my wishes adding insult to injury. The minute I give up holding out and let them know I like them they're gone.

Also not all women are beautiful

you need to expand on this a little more, I am missing the point. What is there to be gained? are women con artists bent on stealing and seduction? are all men doomed?
