Whats going on for that national holiday? The reggae boys made the world cup (went on to win one match) and Jamaica got a day off to celebrate their achievement. So seeing that we've garnered 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals, two world records and an Olympic record [courtesy of Melaine :-)] along with topping the medal table (for track when the quality of medals are weighted). What does it take for us to get a day off? I get it.. if it aint broke don't fix it, huh? I agree. National holiday will be in order after the conclusion of the Olympics!
