Solving Jamaica’s Problems, Is “No Shit”

Solving Majority of Jamaica’s Major problems is in essence a ‘No Shit’ situation. For the older folks who are not familair with the term ‘No Shit’ urban dictionary defines it as ” expressing contemptuous acknowledgment of the obvious”. And the solution to our problems is somewhat obvious. Now i will state my opinion on the solutions here.

Energy

Pretty obvious if i say so myself, Why don’t we go Solar, can it be that hard? The government can make it affordable for everyone to afford, getting rid of our oil addiction permanently; but i guess the JPS would stand to lose billions, i decision will have to be made eventually.

Food Costs

Eat what we grow, grow what we eat (If it’s possible), As i said in a previous post. I for one welcome this food crisis.  The end will inevitability justify the means.

Crime

Something that affects us all. There is no quick fix to this problem. The social and economic breakdown of our lovely country has caused a rapid increase in our crime rate.  As i said, solving our crime problem is no quick fix, it’s more of a long term solution than it is short term, saving future generations the hassle of dealing with our problem. Music is one BIG contributing factor, but i won’t go in-depth, that is for another day. Start with the schools, from kindergarten right up to High School. Provide More Jobs. I would go on, but my brain is suddenly blank. Goodbye.

Any other problem i should have addressed ?

But who knows, maybe none of this will happen because of the politics behind it, i guess Jamaica’s DOOMED.

prsonaly i do believe it can be fixed and i mean really really fixed … the thing is which PARTY will have the balls to attempt it. The solution as i sees it…. is this pump massive investment in early childhood developement right across the economic strata. spare no resources if it even means we have to drive on sub standard road in other word band aid everything else and ensure that this initiative is supported by every relevant ministry

The question is would Jamaica buy into it … don’t think so, is there any party willing to commit them selves to the kinda abuse and the surety of just one term ?

One thing is certain if we achieve at least 65-70% improvement then i am sure that 25 yrs from implementation the country would see real reduction in crime a much, much better labour force pool and the sky would then be the limit…. there is one draw back tho people would actually start voting on issues ….
