Who will “Discipline” and “Reprimand” the teachers?

That was the title of one of Long Bench’s latest posts, she has become one of my favored bloggers, excellent writer indeed, i was contemplating writing a post similar to her’s, but why bother?, she hit the nail on the head. I reccomend that everyone read the article, check it out here

    Oh Gordon! One of your favoured bloggers? Well I won’t even bother to comment on this posting because frankly I view that blogger as rude, obnoxious and offensive. You can continue to read such posts and tell us about it….I will keep reading you through my RSS feed…but for now, I wouldn’t even waste my time clicking on there…..besides, I deal with real issues…not queer issues…NO PUN INTENDED!! HA HA!

    yes, but as bloggers, people must learn that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. that individual spent a great deal of time trying to cry me down on my very own blog…of course I deleted the posts except for one. If one is going to “critique” an issue, they must come with a basis to do so instead of trying to force my hand to provide empirical evidence. I mean shiiittttttt……blogs are there for our relaxation and stuff…instead I got these lengthy critiques about my person, from someone who doesn’t know me. That was the final straw. You know I always say fi you don’t like my blog then get the &^#*$ off of it….you say the same thing too…lol. But seriously…nobody is going to force me to discuss queer theory if I don’t wish to…..if you don’t like my blog…just click and go elsewhere….right? Blunt and to the point? HA HA…..pun intended?

    Yes, but at the same time blogs are there for public criticizing, i don’t really mind what people say doesn’t bother me at all, good or bad, i never delete posts, only when it’s spam, otherwise people can say whatever comes to mind, afterall you make public posts with the intention of people responding, good or bad, if you only want the clean stuff, put rules stipulating what you want posted in place, or you can disable commenting on your posts, just for reading only, sorta like in the paper

    I don’t have a problem with general critique, but I have a problem with people attacking my person in a very vile way. You are entited to your own opinion…true….but you’re not coming on my blog and telling me BS that I don’t have an original thought etc. Even Barbados Free Press and others, have made posts about a$$holes who come on their blog and abuse it. Wouldn’t it better to just move on? I read your blogs all the time, but I don’t necessarily comment because either I don’t agree and may not have time to debate (or think it’s worth it)….or I am not knowledgable in the area to make a comment…isn’t that fair enough? I am sure you may feel the same way about most of my posts too….but you wouldn’t tolerate me coming up here telling you what an asshole I think you are (I don’t in real life though sweetie…lol)….but you get the jist of my idea….Now sorry to rant and rave on your blog but when I saw the BS that Long Bench wrote to me personally, which nobody has seen since I blocked them, I had to check out that blog…only to realise that YOU are the only one paying it any mind….I just thought for someone who was so self righteous and have taken to attacking me personally in my space….would have had a roaring readership. But alas….THANK GOD FOR GORDON SWABY….it may have been lonely in Blogland!

    Lol, As expected from a woman, full of raging emotions, if you knew me personally then you’d know that there’s basically one or 2 things people can say to annoy me. People can tell me what an asshole i am all they want, goes to show you that there constantly thinking about me and seeing me basically tears them apart, while i sit and laugh about it, i find stuff that amusing.

    No one can spoil my day or make me anger but me, i decide whether i have a good day or bad day, not people, so they can bash and critique all they want. A wise person once told me, everyone is useful in one way or another, even your enemies.

    Hey…..I am not angry per se…it’s when I was reading the blog to see that YOU had this blogger’s article on there that I remembered the nasty correspondence sent to me…and it really annoyed me all over again…anyway, I will continue to read your blog and I am now monitoring mine since I can’t trust people to be sane in their responses.

    True Gordon….I agree with your advice to her…she needs to check out your blog…in fact you have given me an idea..maybe I need to blog about protocol or just plain good etiquette etc…then I will encourage the other bloggers (especially the ones in the Caribbean) to ensure that they are proactive about the types of people and responses they get from persons like the above mentioned.
