Bruce Golding Rocked The Debate, Portia’s Pure Dissapointment

by

I will not even elaborate on who won this debate, it should be obvious even for the Average Jamaican. For those of you who cannot figure it out; Bruce Golding won the debate in my Opinion, he brought across his points flawlessly while Portia on the Other hand said nothing that was impressive, as was expected. Mrs.Portia Simpson – Miller kept talking about progress occurring in the country but failed to cite any such examples.

If i was 18yrs old and i had a vote, I’d vote JLP; and i say that without any Apology. Bruce Golding made an excellent speech, while Portia kept talking about how the country will do well in her leadership without even outlining one of her plans. In Portia’s one year rule as Prime Minister she has done absolutely nothing for the country, i will not even get into Free Health Care. Disappointing, i guess i was not proved wrong, she did make an ass of her self. Bruce you did well, and I’m proud of you. Even if you were not Genuine you managed to fool me.

There was one point where one of the questioners asked her where they got the money to fund free health care, her response was that “I checked with the Finance Minister and the Health Minister and they somehow “Found” the money” *sighs*. I laughed throughout the whole debate at her responces…..”Mamma P is here”<—-Lol @ that.

You have just qualified yourself as one of the shortsigted, unobjective labourites we have in this country. If Jamaica is so bad and have nothing going for it, then why are the Labourites so hungry for power? The irredeemable state of affairs painted by your party – I’m still in awe why Bruce or anybody else would want to try. I guess you will say it is for the love of Jamaica – I’ve lived too long in this my blessed country to know that politicians are just about power and not the the good of the country.

Mrs. Simpson Miller, whilst not possessing the eloquent dictatorshio persona of Bruce Golding, handled herself very well and was not a disappointment to Jamaica.

The 27 August will show who Jamaican populace wants to follow. Hope you won’t fall off your chair as I will not be falling off mine – no matter which party wins. I will be here doing my duty in this blessed land I love.

What are you on about; “whilst not possessing the eloquent dictatorship persona of Bruce Golding, handled herself very well and was not a disappointment to Jamaica.” that’s an overstatement, I’m more PNP than i am JLP, but i support neither of them fully, but Portia is not capable of handing a country, i’ll take my chances and give someone else the knife to hold, i fully know she’s going to use the knife and cut us intentionally or not, I’ll give Bruce the Knife to hold and see what he does with it, who knows he’ll probably make us suffer first and then kill us. But it’s quite obvious what will happen if Portia should win, the people in government will play with her like a puppet.

And don’t see how not even answering one question is handling herself ‘very well’.

The country is in a dire state right now, and it does not seem asif it will get any better. Why not give someone else a chance. If Bruce is genuine, then i can relate with him, because i’d love to see a change in our country’s current state. It aches me to know that we could be one of the best countries in the world but fail to do so because of a corrupt government, who knows People change, Bruce has probably changed, let’s give him a chancel.

It seems to me as if you are a “Die Hard” Comrade, you don’t seem to be looking at both sides logically, i try my best to do that and be objective with my decisions. When the 27th comes, whoever wins i will be satisfied,i would have loved to see Bruce Golding win, but if it not meant to be so then so be it, we’ll see how well your beloved Portia Does, although i highly doubt she’ll make much of change.

But what would i know, i’m a 16 yr old who cant vote hehehe. So calm down pops.Be wise with your vote on the 27th of August.

Mr bucks…. get; your facts right…

Fact.. country grew only under jlp government. We’ve seen promises’ from the pnp for years and years. and term after term /election after election they fulfill nothing. I say its time to try other options. The man who falls on his face after tripping on his shoes lace and continues to fall because he refuses to tie them.. or do something different to remedy the problem IS A FUCKING IDIOT.. gordon delete this comment if you wish.. i’m sorry for swearing. but for some apparently you gotta use words they understand.

I am jamaican by birth and I’ve lived here all my life. even though i dont like to think about it.. WHICHEVER PARTY WINS AFFECTS ME.. IT AFFECTS ALL OF US.. IN HOW THEY WILL RUN THE COUNTRY….

well well, quite a discussion you sparked here Gordon.

i grew up in a “power” coomunity with my mom but my grandparents we staunch labourites. Now as an adult that can vote I have weighed the two sides and as far as I see it none tackle the issues most important to me and both have big problems in their “plans” for the direction of the country.

It is my belief that Jamaica needs a firm hand that will drive us back into line, allowing us to hold up our heads as Jamaicans and revive that love for our brother and country we had so many years ago.

Now it’s just everyman for himself, family or crew and that naw guh work nuh matter who a di “driver”

I have been saying for a very long time now that when people are sitting down in the uptown areas and decrying Portia because “har hinglish har bad”, in the end it is the persons who most identify with her who will determine the fate of the minority. This election is too close to call and I am not going to predict anything. However, I want us all to be reminded that not because someone cannot speak the Queen’s English means that they will lose an election. Remember Portia is just one person and they are pushing her out there to attract the superficial voters……I listened carefully to Your Issues Live last night and I am sure if you wtached it you would see that Dr. Bartlett was literally crushed by the inner city residents and were cheering on Munroe…i am not syaing it is a sign of things to come, but the residents claim that some hadn’t seen him since election day and he got that constituency on a platter and messed it up.

Gordon I forgot to tell you that i read where you told a fellow reader that they shouldn’t read your blog if they don’t agree with you. I am in agreement with that. While I try to have a balanced view when writing on mine, I still have people saying that I am too biased and yadda yadda. But every writer is biased because it is the writers persepctive which is translated into words. I tell people all the time to stop reading if they don’t like it. Of late I have people who write and call me a propogandist or whatever…but you know what…it is MY blog and I blog about what I feel to blog about. I just dont allow people to be calling any names on my blog…except for what the article speaks to. Anyway….keep on blogging but duh massa…tek it easy wid people….you want them to read you.
